Idag dammade vi av gympaskorna och deltog ett enormt event, längs Perth stads strand. Tusentals hundar samlades med sina ägare och familjer för att samla in pengar till RSPCA, Australiens djurskyddsorganisation. Banjo och jag mötte upp min vän Natasha, Banjos syster Piper samt två av Natashas New Foundland, och tillsammans drog vi vårt strå till stacken och promenerade in pengar till organisationen. Ett så himla bra arrangemang för en väldigt bra sak, dessutom hade hundarna absolut buskul från början till slut!
Vi träffade på alla sorters hundar, stora som små. Under hela dagen hördes inte ett enda gruff eller morr, alla hundar verkade njuta av uppmärksamheten och ha fullt upp med att kolla in och nosa in varandra!
This day we brushed off our walking shoes and joined a huge event organized in Perth city, just by the river. Thousands of dogs gathered with their families to raise money for RSPCA (Australia's charity to prevent cruelty to animals).
Me and Banjo met up with my friend Natasha, Banjo's sister Piper and two New Foundlands. Together we walk our contribution from start to finish line, and the dogs LOVED it!
We met friends of all shapes and sizes, and some of the dogs we saw, my god, they looked hilarious!
It struck me that during the whole day, I didn't hear or see a single grumpy or growling dog, everyone seemed to be enjoying the attention they got and to be in total harmony!

| Many rescue dogs were there looking for a new home. Apparently, greyhounds that don't race good enough are often considered not worty of a life to their owners, something that just makes me so sad. Maybe people should think twice before supporting the sport. |
